Job Description
Digital Product Director leading commercial digital products for Safelite’s auto glass services. Shaping B2B strategy, AI-enabled experiences, and product team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial digital portfolio and define product strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities
- Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities using client needs, business priorities, behavioral signals, operational performance, and emerging capabilities
- Translate opportunities into clear product direction, priorities, and measurable outcomes
- Make portfolio tradeoffs across client value, business impact, evidence, effort, risk, and learning potential
- Balance near-term performance, foundational capability, and longer-term innovation
- Build understanding of commercial client operations and simplify, accelerate, or improve their work with Safelite
- Design for complex, high-volume environments with multiple roles, permissions, workflows, and decision points
- Reduce friction, increase self-service, improve visibility, and reduce unnecessary coordination
- Connect product decisions to adoption, retention, cost to serve, service efficiency, and client satisfaction
- Establish use of AI across discovery, analysis, synthesis, prototyping, experimentation, and product decision making
- Use AI-native tools to analyze client interactions and product behavior, surface patterns, investigate performance, and identify opportunities
- Build team fluency so AI becomes part of product managers' regular work
- Determine where emerging AI capabilities can improve the commercial experience and team workflows
- Identify AI opportunities across commercial workflows and service interactions
- Partner with agentic product leadership on conversational, agentic, predictive, and adaptive capabilities
- Ensure AI-enabled experiences have measurable value, appropriate controls, reliable data, and clear expectations
- Lead, coach, and develop product managers responsible for the commercial digital portfolio
- Set standards for product judgment, client understanding, analytical fluency, experimentation, and execution
- Create ways of working supporting continuous discovery and delivery
- Partner with Design, Engineering, Commercial leadership, Sales, Account Management, Analytics, Technology, Operations, Billing, Field, and Contact Center teams
- Align teams around opportunities, priorities, success measures, and required decisions
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Required
- 7-9 years of product management or digital product experience, including significant ownership of B2B, enterprise, or business-client digital products
- 8+ years of product management or digital product experience, including significant ownership of B2B, enterprise, or business-client digital products
- Experience leading and developing product managers
- Experience owning digital products from strategy and discovery through launch, measurement, and continuous improvement
- Experience designing for complex client environments with multiple roles, permissions, workflows, and decision rights
- Strong analytical fluency and hands-on experience using digital analytics platforms such as Quantum Metric, Heap, Amplitude, FullStory, Mixpanel, or similar
- Demonstrated fluency using AI across product strategy, discovery, research synthesis, analysis, prototyping, experimentation, and optimization
- Experience using AI-native tools to investigate client behavior, product performance, and emerging opportunities
- Experience with adoption measurement, experimentation, workflow optimization, or digital performance improvement in a B2B environment
- Ability to connect client needs, business strategy, operational realities, and technology capabilities into clear product direction and investment priorities
- Experience working in continuous discovery and delivery environments
- Strong written and verbal communication, including engagement with senior internal stakeholders and external clients
- Preferred: experience with fleet, logistics, field service, or vehicle-related digital products
- Preferred: experience shipping AI-enabled, conversational, agentic, predictive, or automated capabilities within business workflows
- Preferred: experience with products connecting digital interactions to operational or physical service delivery
- Preferred: familiarity with APIs, integrations, billing systems, entitlements, identity, permissions, data products, and design systems
- Preferred: experience with enterprise clients where adoption spans multiple roles or operating units
