Job Description
Product Engineer building scalable Golang and Node.js APIs for Trafilea’s global DTC consumer brands. Delivering AWS-powered backend systems, integrations, and AI-ready features.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and optimize backend services using Golang and Node.js to support millions of customers worldwide
- Design, build, and maintain REST APIs for integrations across products, platforms, and teams
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and Marketing to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Apply AWS best practices for scalable deployments, security, and cost optimization
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and reviews within an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Identify and address technical debt to ensure system stability and scalability
- Document solutions and share knowledge to elevate technical standards across the team
Requirements:
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Deep proficiency in Golang and Node.js (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization
- Skilled in API development and integration patterns
- Proficient in Git/GitHub workflows and collaborative coding practices
- Practical experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3
- Advocate for secure, performant, and maintainable software
- Effective communicator capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment
