Job Description
Product Line Manager growing MAPEI’s precast and prestressed concrete business. Developing national strategy, customer relationships, product positioning, and sales-support initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the national growth strategy for MAPEI’s precast and prestressed concrete segment
- Identify market opportunities, industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
- Build targeted account strategies across manufactured-concrete markets
- Partner with regional sales teams to identify, qualify, and convert strategic opportunities
- Build relationships with key customer decision-makers and support presentations, product evaluations, plant trials, negotiations, and business reviews
- Serve as MAPEI’s subject-matter expert for precast applications
- Collaborate with Technical Services and Research and Development to troubleshoot applications, identify product gaps, and develop differentiated solutions
- Evaluate customer production processes and recommend improvements
- Guide product portfolio strategy, including positioning, pricing, product opportunities, launches, technical literature, and sales-support materials
- Monitor market conditions, segment performance, competitive activity, pipelines, and financial results; provide forecasts and strategic recommendations
- Represent MAPEI at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, technical committees, and industry organizations
- Develop training and sales tools and promote coordination across cross-functional teams
- Follow MAPEI’s Business Management System policies and Environmental, Health and Safety requirements
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience accepted
- At least two years of related industry experience
- Strong knowledge of precast and prestressed concrete production, admixtures, mix design, curing, durability, and architectural finishes
- Commercial and strategic-planning experience
- Ability to translate technical performance into customer and financial value
- Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel as required
