Job Description
Product Manager identifying customer needs and leading healthcare product innovations at Illumia. Engaging with users to create valuable solutions and define product strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously engage with customers and users to build a deep, current understanding of the problem space.
- Form clear hypotheses about what solutions will create value and design lightweight experiments to test them.
- Work with the Interaction Designer and Engineering lead to prototype, test, and iterate toward solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable.
- Translate the squad's quarterly objective into a backlog that reflects the team's current best understanding of how to achieve it.
- Make prioritization decisions grounded in evidence — usage data, customer research, outcome metrics — not stakeholder volume or recency.
- Define the key results that indicate whether the squad's objective has been achieved; track and communicate progress honestly.
- Build and maintain the feedback loops — usage instrumentation, adoption metrics, customer signals — that tell the team whether what shipped is working.
- Partner with the APM to ensure delivery runs smoothly without pulling PM attention from discovery.
- Represent the squad's work and rationale to stakeholders — communicating outcomes and strategy, not just status.
- Partner with Product Marketing on launch readiness and positioning.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of product management experience; discovery-led, outcome-oriented work strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to run customer and user research; comfort forming and testing hypotheses.
- Experience with SaaS products in institutional, campus, healthcare, or enterprise environments preferred.
- Genuine curiosity about how great products get built is non-negotiable.
Benefits:
- Flexible time off to include paid holidays and volunteer time.
- Robust health, dental, and vision insurance plans on your first day of employment.
- Employer-paid life insurance/AD&D/short-term and long-term disability insurance.
- Comprehensive employee assistance program (EAP).
- Flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA).
- Matched 401(k).
- Employee stock purchase plan.
