Job Description
Technical Program Manager leading Exavalu’s end-to-end data warehouse performance improvement program. Coordinating technical teams and tuning SQL, ETL/ELT, and high-volume workloads.
Responsibilities:
- Lead an end-to-end Data Warehouse Performance Improvement Program
- Own end-to-end delivery of data warehouse performance improvement initiatives
- Manage program plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and resources
- Coordinate across source systems, data platforms, and Scrum teams
- Drive performance tuning across SQL, ETL/ELT jobs, batch processing, and large-volume data workloads
- Manage scope, budget, resource utilization, change requests, and delivery tracking
- Lead governance, risk and issue management, leadership reporting, stakeholder communication, and escalations
Requirements:
- Strong Technical Program Management experience, preferably with data/analytics programs
- Good understanding of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, batch jobs, SQL, and data warehouse architecture
- Experience with SQL and data warehouse performance tuning
- Strong program planning, dependency, risk, scope, and resource management skills
- Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, governance, and executive reporting skills
- Preferred: experience managing large-scale data warehouse modernization or performance improvement programs
- Preferred: knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS
- Preferred: experience with high-volume data processing and batch optimization
- Preferred: PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certification
- Preferred: experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or other data-intensive industries
