Job Description
Project Budget Coordinator tracking construction project budgets, invoices, and purchase orders for Intermountain Health’s nonprofit healthcare system. Supporting bid reviews, financial controls, and project closeout.
Responsibilities:
- Complete project tasks including analyzing, researching, reconciling, and problem solving
- Support the system construction team with bid review processes
- Maintain construction project financial tracking
- Maintain procedural policy adherence
- Prepare purchase requisitions for assigned projects
- Manage purchase orders
- Submit and track accounts payable invoices
- Assist with tracking and submission of statements of work
- Research and resolve issues and errors
- Notify appropriate personnel to prevent recurring errors
- Improve and standardize procedures and processes to prevent errors and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with the fixed asset team on project timelines, accurate spend detail, and timely project closeout
- Interact with contractors, colleagues, and project managers
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a role with applicable project coordinator experience
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with invoices, purchase requisitions, and reconciliation of accounts
- Associate degree preferred, obtained from an accredited institution; degree will be verified
- Experience with accounting and database management preferred
- Experience in a health insurance or health care setting managing multiple scope projects preferred
- Experience in construction, including working with contractors, preferred
- Ability to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and assess customer needs
- Ability to verbally communicate and hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity to manipulate computer equipment with precision and accuracy
- Frequent computer use for typing and accessing needed information
- Availability for Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm shift
- Video interview through Microsoft Teams required, with potential onsite interviews and meetings
- Candidates may not reside or plan to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington; Colorado remote caregivers are excluded when their assigned Intermountain facility or service area is not based in Colorado
