Job Description
Project Manager for ThinkWell's Delaware Rural Health Transformation Program, coordinating health initiatives across 15 subrecipients and ensuring program compliance. Requires project management experience and health policy knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Support program coordination across 15 RHTP initiatives, ensuring alignment of activities, timelines, and deliverables
- Plan and schedule regular virtual and in person meetings, and support knowledge sharing among subrecipients
- Serve as the day-to-day primary point of contact for subrecipients on day-to-day matters, offering guidance on contract management, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Compile consolidated quarterly and annual program data from subrecipients; draft reports that summarize program achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations for program improvement and sustainability.
- Provide quality assurance (QA) and validation checks on data entered into program tracking systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with CMS reporting requirements.
- Monitor 15 subgrantees’ performance and budget adherence, including monitoring progress against deliverables and conducting subrecipient site reviews.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure alignment with project goals and approved budgets across all 15 RHTP initiatives.
- Assist monitoring and evaluation team to ensure that program outputs—including dashboards, reports, and summaries—are clear, accessible, and health-literate for public-facing use.
- Complete other duties as assigned in support of the RHTP and ThinkWell’s domestic health portfolio.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required. Master’s degree in public policy (MPP), public health (MPH), health administration, or a closely related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive responsibility in project management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workplans, budgets, and deliverable timelines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for Delaware site visits and stakeholder engagements.
- Experience working with state or federal contracts/grants, with a preference for CMS or other HHS agency programs.
- Experience with rural health initiatives, clinical workforce capacity building, health IT, food is medicine, community health centers, practice transformation and/or behavioral health
- Familiarity with the Delaware health and human services landscape, including DPH, DHSS, or Delaware-based health systems.
- Experience using performance management or strategy execution platforms (e.g., AchieveIt) a plus.
- Background in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) in a public health context.
