Job Description
Project Manager overseeing client implementation projects at Scientific Games, a leader in lottery and gaming technology. Requires collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver successful implementation projects.
Responsibilities:
- As a Client Project Manager, you are responsible for collaborating with clients and internal teams to successfully manage and deliver implementation projects that cover one or more business units.
- You will manage the overall project schedule, issues and risks, expenses versus budget, and communicate project status to stakeholders, internal or external clients, and senior management.
- You serve as a central point of contact for projects and assist in developing projects from initial design through to final implementation.
- You facilitate definition of project scope and objectives, and coordinate all aspects of the project, planning and leading schedules and budgets.
- You must be able to work in a hybrid environment, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of project management experience and leading large-scale client implementation projects
- PMP certification is an asset
- Experience in IT consulting/outsourcing or with one of the Big Four IT consulting firms is a plus
- Experience planning and delivering large-scale programs and projects involving procurement, software development, infrastructure, logistics, third-party vendors, on-site and off-site staff, digital and mobile solutions using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Experience implementing digital software solutions
- Ability to travel and attend on-site customer implementations (up to 30% travel possible, primarily within the province of Quebec)
- Proven experience successfully managing medium to large programs or projects
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, and critical thinking required
- Strong presentation, communication, leadership, collaboration and people skills are required
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Hands-on professional experience developing, creating, responding to, drafting, contributing to and reviewing requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs), proposals, proposal development, project cost estimating, project budgets and project plans
- Hands-on professional experience managing programs or projects from RFI through to launch, planning, execution, management and control, closure, post-implementation support and handover to operations.
