Job Description
Property Surveyor - Estate Manager managing retail estate at Specsavers. Responsible for lease renewals, rent reviews, and building stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
- managing lease renewals
- rent reviews
- wider asset management projects
- navigating complex landlord relationships
- reviewing service charges, insurance, and costs
- negotiating outcomes that create long-term value
- working closely with internal teams including business development and retail support
- supporting licences to alter and landlord disputes
- maintenance and compliance considerations
- building strong, trusted relationships
- regular travel to spend time with store partners
- influencing outcomes and delivering the best possible results
- managing multiple projects at pace
- spotting opportunities, reducing risk and driving value
- challenging where needed and leading complex negotiations
Requirements:
- experience across a multi-site retail estate
- strong knowledge of property management
- collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
- confident working with stakeholders at all levels
- comfortable handling complexity
- RICS membership or working towards it (ideal)
