Job Description
ServiceNow QA Analyst testing ServiceNow ITSM products for NewRocket, an AI-first Elite ServiceNow Partner. Designing test plans, executing scripts, and resolving defects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure objectives are met
- Implement and monitor test scripts assessing functionality, reliability, performance, and product quality
- Identify and remedy production-process defects
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions
- Compile and analyze statistical data
- Ensure user expectations are met during testing
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Investigate customer complaints and product issues
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- Support planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans
- Provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues
Requirements:
- Ability to understand and apply performance, unit, integration, and automated testing techniques
- Ability to use IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and system administration/Unix tools
- Good understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies
- Experience reviewing test cases and test scenarios, analyzing issue causes, and taking corrective actions
- Understanding of smoke, functional, integration, system, regression, stress, and black box testing
- Solid functional and non-functional end-to-end testing experience with the ServiceNow platform
- Experience testing ServiceNow-based products
- Hands-on experience using an existing automation framework, preferably ServiceNow ATF
- Technical expertise in ServiceNow and/or automation areas
- Four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- 2+ years of ServiceNow testing experience or related experience
- ISTQB, CSTE, or CSA certification preferred
