Job Description

Ryder Recruiter II sourcing, screening, and recommending talent for high-volume, managerial, technical, and professional positions. Supporting business staffing needs and compliant recruiting operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide World Class Recruiting Services to the Ryder organization in a cost-effective manner
  • Continuously search for and provide state-of-the-art recruitment methodology
  • Identify, recruit, interview and recommend candidates for entry- and mid-level, high-volume positions and managerial, technical and/or professional positions
  • Source, screen, interview and refer candidates to hiring managers
  • Develop effective working relationships with placement agencies and external recruiters
  • Maintain effective working relationships with HR and business partners to ensure appropriate service levels
  • Analyze staffing issues of moderate scope across a variety of factors
  • Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting
  • Promote Ryder as an employer of choice
  • Determine the best recruiting avenues
  • Contribute to organizational projects and goals
  • Assess staffing needs of business units and take appropriate steps to meet service levels
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required or equivalent work experience
  • Four (4) years or more experience in a related area required
  • Sources, screens, interviews and refers candidates to hiring managers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility and self-drive to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Business perspective
  • Ability to exercise judgment in accordance with policies and guidelines
  • Compliance with established procedures and/or protocols
  • Must comply with legal aspects of recruiting
