Job Description
Recruiter building warm talent communities and filling customer support, assistant, bookkeeping, and sales operations roles for remote-first ScaleSource. Hiring for U.S. companies while improving recruiting systems and candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively source, interview, and vet candidates for roles that are not open yet
- Segment the talent community by role, readiness, and seniority, and keep records current
- Run candidate re-engagement cadences and maintain pool freshness
- Own full-cycle hiring across multiple verticals and close live roles within 14 days
- Write job postings and conduct structured screening and interviews
- Partner with hiring managers on role requirements and hiring standards
- Learn unfamiliar roles quickly and produce evidence-based shortlists
- Respond to every candidate within 24 business hours
- Give specific, honest, useful feedback to candidates reaching interview stage
- Maintain relationships with rejected candidates so they may reapply or refer others
- Own a recruitment improvement initiative
- Use AI and automation to remove manual recruitment steps
- Bring recruiting data to weekly scorecards and make data-backed recommendations
- Build a live, segmented talent community and fill roles from it quickly
- Hire 30+ candidates with support during the first 90 days
Requirements:
- Personally built and maintained a talent pool, bench, or talent community, including interviewing, vetting, engagement, and hiring from the pool
- Recruiting experience in at least one of: customer service or support, executive assistant, virtual receptionist or front desk, accounting or bookkeeping, sales operations
- Experience hiring for the U.S. market with U.S. companies or hiring managers
- Experience running several open roles simultaneously and closing them on a deadline
- Advanced written and spoken English
- Ability to work Monday to Friday with most of the day overlapping U.S. Central Time
- Reliable home work setup
- Tech-comfortable and able to learn new tools quickly
- Preferred, not required: recruiting remote roles across multiple regions, staffing agency/BPO/RPO/offshore staffing background, Workable experience, AI and automation tools, and weekly output measurement experience
