Job Description

Regional Business Director leading commercial strategies for oncology accounts at Sanofi. Overseeing account planning, team development, and revenue growth initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into a US Oncology Divisional General Manager, Commercial, assume the commercial leadership role for assigned key accounts
  • Develop and execute account plans, providing overall account leadership
  • Coach cross-functional team members
  • Build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts
  • Organize and deploy appropriate resources within SANOFI to drive value co-creation with customers and meet/exceed revenue targets
  • Identify and qualify opportunities within accounts and develop growth strategies
  • Lead strategy sessions with account teams to facilitate customer value co-creation
  • Lead a team of Area Business Managers, ensuring strong field execution and ongoing professional development
  • Ensure ongoing compliance and accountability for business outcomes
  • Manage regional expenses within allocated budgets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years people and industry leadership experience within hematology/oncology strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills required
  • Must be a seasoned sales executive and proven leader with sophisticated sales management skills
  • Experience in both major pharmaceutical and in biotech companies is a plus
  • Experience in selling an oncologic product and experience in the “buy and bill” reimbursement area is strongly preferred
  • Must have strong collaboration skills and experience working in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment
  • Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to participate in and lead cross-functional teams and to achieve results through cooperation with other commercial functions
  • Have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% for regional business
