Job Description
Regional Business Manager growing Calyxo’s kidney stone treatment device business across North Central USA. Leading sales teams, hospital adoption, market access, and regional commercial strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all commercial activity within the designated North Central sales region
- Develop and grow Calyxo’s kidney stone treatment business by engaging urologists, gaining facility approval for Calyxo products, establishing patient access, and driving safe and effective product utilization
- Collaborate with the West Coast Area Sales Director and Vice President, Sales on day-to-day sales, strategy, direction, and CVAC promotional activities
- Recruit, develop, lead, and retain territory sales professionals and clinical specialists
- Inspire regional sales teams to deliver revenue performance aligned with company growth expectations
- Set expectations, monitor assigned duties, manage resources, and develop direct reports through leadership, training, and improvement plans
- Develop commercial strategies, tactical plans, territory plans, and regional business development strategies
- Analyze competition, market trends, and corporate strengths and weaknesses to create actionable growth proposals
- Translate company mission and vision into quantitative plans for the regional sales team
- Create and execute sales strategies, identify process improvements, and lead implementation
- Maintain current training related to company SOPs and industry regulations
- Complete regional administrative responsibilities, including SFDC field data entry, expense reporting, and inventory management
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers to increase CVAC adoption
- Partner with marketing, customer service, market access, and professional education leadership teams
- Participate in local, regional, and national tradeshows as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS degree with minimum 10 years of relevant medical device sales experience
- Track record of success leading teams in medical devices, with the majority in sales leadership
- Experience working in early-stage start-ups
- Previous operating room experience, including use of fluoroscopy and endoscopy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information clearly and effectively to small or large groups
- Deep experience working and selling into hospitals and ASCs
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence and good driving record
- Ability to travel up to 60%; overnight travel is required
- Perform duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Willingness and ability to maintain up-to-date hospital credentialing requirements, including required vaccinations and immunizations
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
