Job Description
Regional Safety Manager at KBS ensuring compliance with OSHA and improving safety performance across operations. Leading safety initiatives and maintaining workplace safety documentation for effective management.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring regional compliance with OSHA regulations
- Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies and programs
- Assess risk and identify opportunities to improve safety performance
- Lead initiatives to reduce hazards across operations
- Oversee the accurate documentation and reporting of safety metrics, records, and compliance logs
- Design safety program initiatives including leading the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of regional safety programs
- Plans, implements and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs
- Maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs
- Provides operations team with guidance on health and safety processes
- Oversee multiple safety initiatives/projects
- Develop and manage budgets for safety programs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive Health and Safety Management experience preferred
- Employee Health and Safety (EHS) Supply Chain industry experience required
- Amazon experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- In health care settings, required to maintain up-to-date immunizations and annual flu shots
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent. Or an equivalent combination of degree and experience
- Certifications in Employee Health and Safety (EHS)
