Job Description

Regional sales leader growing Halter’s virtual fencing technology across Central and Northern Victoria. Managing quotas, mentoring Territory Managers, and closing on-farm customer deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team to grow Halter in Central and Northern Victoria
  • Meet farmers in the field, champion Halter, and convert prospects into customers
  • Set and manage quotas, commissions, and other sales-management tasks for the Victoria sales team
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior sales staff
  • Source leads through proactive outreach, referrals, introductions, industry events, and other channels
  • Field and respond to inbound inquiries
  • Manage the sales pipeline through screening, qualification, on-farm demonstrations, negotiation, and contract close
  • Collaborate with Customer Success on post-sales handoff, implementation, customer satisfaction, and account renewal
  • Support customer relationships while they wait for deployment
  • Participate in relevant industry and Halter events and demonstrations
  • Build and leverage industry relationships to strengthen Halter's brand
  • Provide customer feedback to help drive the product roadmap
  • Optimize and evolve the sales process as the company scales

Requirements:

  • At least five years of end-to-end sales experience
  • Proven track record sourcing prospects, securing meetings with new leads, and creating new sales opportunities
  • Extensive value-based sales experience with a proven history of closing deals and achieving high-volume sales results
  • Solid communication skills to present Halter's value proposition
  • Experience in dairy farming or the agricultural sector is a must-have
  • Results-driven and highly motivated, with exceptional time management skills
  • Adaptability in a high-stakes sales environment and ability to think on your feet
  • Sales experience in the technology-based industry is preferred
  • A university degree or equivalent would be excellent but is not a must
