Job Description

Regional sales manager leading healthcare MRO sales teams for HD Supply across Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Driving territory growth, customer retention, market share, and team development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a territory
  • Design and recommend sales and marketing programs
  • Set short- and long-term sales strategies
  • Develop and implement sales and customer retention programs
  • Plan, forecast, and report on sales and competitive pricing activities and tactics
  • Manage day-to-day activities of individual sales representatives
  • Define the sales process and develop efficient, creative sales strategies
  • Analyze and develop reports to identify territory sales and revenue growth opportunities
  • Spend time in the field and interact with customers and internal partners to resolve escalated issues
  • Develop sales processes to increase market share within the assigned territory
  • Manage and develop direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales
  • Review performance management, identify successful candidates, and coach and develop the team for career development and sales growth

Requirements:

  • Must reside in the state(s) specified above: Kansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma
  • Demonstrated experience selling or leading teams within MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations)
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, product applications, and industry trends
  • Tenured sales experience with demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Ability to manage an existing customer base and identify opportunities for continued growth
  • Leadership experience preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated interest in developing others, building strong teams, and growing into expanded leadership opportunities
  • Strategic, big-picture mindset
  • Coachable and growth-oriented
  • Strong focus on team development and collaboration
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, internal partners, and vendors
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, requests, and competing business needs
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report required
  • Personal vehicle operation required, consistently more than 20% of the average work week
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
  • Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field
  • May require certification
