Job Description
Reimbursement Business Analyst providing financial analysis, compliance tracking, and operational support to the Reimbursement Departments. Develops reporting tools and serves as a liaison between departments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical, project management, and operational support to the Reimbursement & Chargemaster Departments
- Support Medicaid supplemental and state directed payment programs, cost reporting activities, and broader reimbursement initiatives
- Develop and maintain reporting tools, monitor key reimbursement metrics
- Assist with audit preparation and regulatory documentation
- Support budgeting and contractual analysis
- Evaluate workflows, identify opportunities for process improvement
- Serve as a liaison between Reimbursement, Managed Care, Revenue Cycle, Accounting, IT, and operational departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years’ experience in lieu of education
- 3-5 years of job-related experience
- Area of study or major: Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration or a Revenue Cycle related field
