Job Description

Resilience Analyst supporting climate resilience investment strategies through research and analysis. Engaging with experts and developing criteria for investors and issuers globally and in South-East Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Research & technical analysis: Builds deep sector knowledge by researching climate risks, adaptation challenges, and existing frameworks, with outputs directly shaping investment criteria that unlock capital for resilience.
  • Criteria Development: Works alongside technical consultants and the Resilience Taxonomy Manager, supports the development of Technical Screening Criteria (TSC), thresholds and standards that determine whether an investment qualifies as ‘resilient’.
  • Stakeholder & working group coordination: Identifies, convenes, and coordinates Technical Working Groups (TWGs) and Industry Working Groups (IWGs) that bring together the best minds in each sector.
  • Communication & stakeholder engagement: Supports the communications about Climate Bonds's A&R work to a broad audience ranging from technical experts to institutional investors specifically ensuring the value and rigour of the criteria is well understood.
  • Knowledge management & thought leadership: Continuously builds expertise and contributes to Climate Bonds position as a thought leader on A&R finance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a collaborative role with key experience in the Adaptation and Resilience.
  • Experience working with financial institutions/ government bodies, think tanks, NGO
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Experience working with technical experts or advisory groups.
  • Ability to synthesise and explain complex information into structured outputs.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Proactive communications with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in A&R, sustainable finance, and taxonomy development.
  • Master’s degree or Advanced degree in a relevant field (environmental science, urban planning, economics, finance, engineering, or related discipline) (desirable).
  • Familiarity with climate risk assessment methodologies and tools (desirable).
  • Knowledge of sustainable finance, taxonomies, ESG frameworks, or investment criteria (desirable).
  • Experience working in emerging markets (desirable).
  • Familiarity with sustainable finance standards and/or taxonomy (desirable).
