Job Description

Restoration Program Manager leading federal environmental remediation projects for KOMAN Eco Services. Managing P&L, compliance, safety, quality, proposals, client relationships, and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage budgets, internal cost reporting, and P&L for assigned projects and contracts
  • Develop and manage contract and project schedules, compliance components, and contractual requirements
  • Obtain favorable CPARS ratings
  • Communicate clearly with clients and staff regarding taskings and contractual issues
  • Grow the restoration business line and mentor new staff
  • Lead, plan, develop, and deliver technical/cost proposals
  • Assist in identifying strategic opportunities and potential new clients
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships
  • Lead sales and marketing efforts for assigned clients and market areas
  • Lead business development efforts, follow up on leads, mine contracts, and maximize existing and future opportunities
  • Supervise and/or mentor Project Managers and staff responsible for day-to-day operations
  • Develop, implement, and support safety and quality control programs for contracts and projects
  • Travel to various project and client sites as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, geology, civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, or related field required
  • Professional Geologist License required
  • At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience, including project and program management experience for federal agencies
  • Professional certification/registration in a relevant field such as Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or similar is strongly desired
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop multi-disciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities and deadlines across multiple proposals/projects/programs
  • Ability to travel to conferences, client locations, and project sites
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to edit, oversee, and prepare high-quality technical reports with attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds
