Job Description

Retirement Plan Advisor guiding New Hampshire public employees through retirement planning and presentations. Supporting Empower’s government 457 plans, stakeholder relationships, compliance, and participant outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and other individual meetings and group presentations with targeted participants
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in assigned territory or employer-sponsored plans
  • Conduct one-on-one virtual and on-site group meetings using various technologies
  • Manage meeting schedules, including travel booking
  • Create and execute business plans and tactics to improve retirement income outcomes
  • Document interactions in Salesforce and collect information for regulatory compliance
  • Achieve plan-level and individual goals, service-level agreements, and business results
  • Participate in client meetings, sales finals, and other external meetings as needed
  • Collaborate across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness
  • Assist the Relationship Management team in establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3–5 years relevant financial services experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to work independently as a strategic thinker
  • Strong relationship-building and territory-management skills
  • FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 registrations required within established timeline; current FINRA registrations strongly preferred
  • FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Working knowledge of building blocks for successful retirement planning preferred
  • Basic understanding of defined contribution plans preferred
  • Practical experience providing high-level, consultative client interactions preferred
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship or takeover of sponsorship, including CPT/OPT
  • Must reside in the assigned New Hampshire territory and be able to travel as needed
  • Reliable high-speed wired internet and an appropriate home workspace required for remote work
