Job Description
Revenue Cycle IDR Analyst managing out-of-network claims disputes and reimbursement analytics for healthcare revenue cycle firm Knowtion Health. Identifying payer trends, reconciling inventory, and presenting findings to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert managing a specific client’s Out of Network inventory
- Leverage project management and revenue cycle skills to identify trends and patterns supporting strategic IDR dispute submissions
- Submit Open Negotiation letters and IDR Disputes for federal and state processes
- Analyze insurance cards and EOBs to determine whether a claim is Self Funded or Fully Funded
- Run reports to identify trends and patterns within claims inventory and drive workflow, including bulk account actions
- Manage relationships with Out of Network payers to establish claim settlement processes where applicable
- Analyze data to identify improvements in billing, claim reimbursement, and follow-up processes
- Validate analytics using data from client systems
- Review insurance companies’ payment patterns and denials to identify trends and irregularities
- Reconcile inventory, including payments, adjustments, and returned accounts
- Present IDR findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with product management and implementation teams on operational analytic enhancements for clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in hospital revenue cycle analytics preferred or equivalent experience in hospital accounts receivable claims management
- Experience reviewing insurance cards, EOBs, and claims data
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle and different Revenue Cycle systems/applications
- Must present a valid government-issued photo ID during screening and/or interviews
- Must consent to photograph capture during screening or interview for identity verification, security, and record-keeping purposes
