Job Description
Risk Management Intern at Grow Financial analyzing data and supporting risk assessments for internal teams. Flexible remote opportunities available for students from selected universities.
Responsibilities:
- Learn to perform duties in Risk Management under general supervision.
- Support risk management activities related to risk assessments and practices.
- Conduct non-financial risk assessments and risk reviews.
- Support GRC software activities.
- Synthesize data into actionable insights from large amounts of data across multiple systems.
- Collaborate frequently with other areas of the credit union.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering or Risk Management from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion of a risk management course preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision.
