Job Description
Sales development trainee rotating through product, architectural services, and field training. Learning to sell Allegion’s door hardware and security solutions before transitioning into a full-time sales role.
Responsibilities:
- Complete the 12-month Sales Development Program – Architectural Track training and development rotations
- Participate in a 6-month product and industry training module at the Training Facility in Denver, CO
- Attend a virtual sales skills training course once weekly for 8 weeks
- Complete a 3-month immersive architectural services training program in the local market with the architectural team
- Complete a 3-month field training rotation with Allegion’s field selling teams
- Coordinate and conduct joint sales calls throughout the assigned sales territory
- Represent Allegion products and demonstrate solutions at local security tradeshows
- Learn about customers within the trade area and build relationships with decision makers
- Attend factory and outside product training
- Develop relationships across Allegion’s matrixed organization
- Use Dynamics CRM, Overtur, and PowerBI data analytics to gather and maintain project information
- Maintain awareness of and comply with Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Transition into a full-time sales role after completing the program
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Construction, Engineering, Architecture or Marketing preferred
- Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude
- Detail oriented with a high level of organization and time management skills
- Proficient w/ MS Office tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Influencing skills essential along with a bias for action
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Legally authorized to be employed in the United States
- Company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status
