Job Description
Outbound Sales Development Representative helping businesses adopt Remote’s global employment platform. Qualifying prospects, booking Account Executive meetings, and launching sales conversations across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to, engage, and qualify outbound leads and inquiries
- Source new sales prospects and reach out to book appointments for Account Executives
- Clearly communicate Remote’s value propositions and assess prospect needs and fit
- Provide support to the Account Executive team as needed
- Educate and develop prospects through hand-off to sales teams
- Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts
- Cold call prospects generated by various outside sources
- Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle
- Report to the Manager, Outbound Sales Development
Requirements:
- Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools; knowledge of HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Chorus is a plus
- Experience working as an SDR in a B2B SaaS Tech company
- Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively
- Exceptional oral and written communication and listening skills
- Ability to think strategically and tactically
- Positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure
- Strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
- Self-starter, proactive, and able to bring new ideas to the team
- Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
- Demonstrated success in the key responsibility areas
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency
- Remote work experience is a plus, not required
