Job Description

Sales Development Representative identifying leads and engaging prospects for cybersecurity solutions at Forcepoint. Fostering collaboration within a dynamic sales team while enhancing personal sales skills and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Utilize various tools like social media and databases to uncover high-potential leads.
  • Outreach: Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and professional social channels.
  • Qualification: Identify the right fit for products by understanding prospects' pain points.
  • Appointment Setting: Secure high-quality meetings for account executives.
  • Skills Development: Keep current on modern sales techniques and technologies.
  • Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams to optimize approach.
  • Reporting: Maintain an accurate record of engagement with prospects and provide updates on lead generation activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective research and identify potential leads.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales enablement tools.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to lead generation.
  • Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or sales (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Sales Development Representative).
  • Previous experience in a cybersecurity sales role.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices.
