Job Description

Sales leader developing retail channels and business opportunities for Diversey, a global provider of cleaning and hygiene solutions. Leading and coaching the regional sales team across Austria.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies with a focus on business development and trade
  • Create and maintain an annual business plan for channel and end customers
  • Prepare forecasts and ongoing revenue projections
  • Achieve assigned and/or developed sales targets (AOP)
  • Analyze, evaluate, and acquire regional and national trade partners
  • Manage relationships with specialist wholesalers, cash & carry outlets, office suppliers, food wholesalers, and online retailers
  • Identify and approve new customer projects for the Regional Sales Manager team
  • Maintain relationships with decision-makers and market partners
  • Manage and negotiate trade terms, monitor contracts, and enforce the pricing strategy and price increases
  • Design, create, and implement sales promotions and promotional activities
  • Provide functional and disciplinary leadership and coaching to the Regional Sales Team
  • Conduct application technology and sales training
  • Organize team meetings and one-on-one discussions
  • Monitor and develop performance using Salesforce, Tableau, Concur, TREK, Workday, and other tools
  • Conduct employee discussions, resolve conflicts, build teams, plan vacations, and recruit employees

Requirements:

  • Academic qualification (university, university of applied sciences, or cooperative state university)
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups and a passion for building customer networks
  • Strong self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, a hands-on approach, and perseverance
  • Sales-oriented personality with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Knowledge of chemistry, products, and the industry is an advantage
  • Strong affinity for numbers combined with humanity and empathy
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • IT skills
