Job Description

Sales Engineer role focusing on ERP e-automate and add-on solutions, providing tailored product demonstrations and technical expertise for sales teams and prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tailored product demonstrations based on prospect requirements.
  • Clearly articulate the value and differentiators of ECI solutions versus competitors.
  • Translate technical concepts into accessible language for business stakeholders.
  • Support scoping, discovery, and proposal review sessions; gather technical and business requirements.
  • Evaluate if client needs are met through standard product features or require custom development.
  • Present solution options with risk-benefit analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and sales teams to drive continuous improvement and customer alignment.
  • Build solution documentation and contribute to marketing initiatives like webinars and trade shows.
  • Continuously train internal sales and aftermarket teams on updates and demo strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software pre-sales or sales engineering, demonstrating systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and field service management software.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, SQL, and familiarity with cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, multi-tenant).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills including web-based demos and proposal responses.
  • Ability to influence and educate both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, MS Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel up to 20%.
