Job Description
Sales Engineer partnering on enterprise cybersecurity deals for Artemis, an AI-driven defense company. Leading technical discovery, demos, proofs of value, and security reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Executives to win complex enterprise deals
- Lead technical deep dives, tailored demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs for enterprise security teams
- Run structured technical discovery of customer security posture, existing tooling, and integration needs
- Design and validate customer-specific solutions meeting technical, security, compliance, and business requirements
- Serve as the primary technical owner in pre-sales and support deal strategy
- Answer questions about product architecture, detection logic, scalability, data handling, and deployment
- Support pilots, proofs of value, and technical validation in customer environments
- Address technical objections and advise on deployment, rollout, and detection tuning strategies
- Lead responses to security questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor risk reviews
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security Research, RevOps, and customer teams
- Ensure smooth handoffs from pre-sales to post-sales
- Contribute to pre-sales playbooks, demos, and technical messaging
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar pre-sales technical role in B2B cybersecurity
- Comfortable leading technical conversations with security practitioners, security architects, and CISOs across complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of modern security architecture: identity, endpoint, network, and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and common log sources (CloudTrail, Okta, endpoint telemetry, etc.)
- Familiarity with detection frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and threat modeling
- Comfort with APIs, Python, Bash, KQL, SPL, and SQL
- Ability to explain complex technical and security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Customer-oriented in high-stakes sales environments
- Comfortable managing multiple deals and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience supporting enterprise or technically complex security sales motions
- Prior experience as a software engineer is nice to have
- Hands-on cybersecurity background is nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, or cloud security certifications are a plus
