Job Description
Sales Manager responsible for customer sales support and relationship management in defined regions. Building rapport and driving sales for a global industrial organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer sales and service support for a defined geographic region
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Monitor and increase sales volume and operating income
- Attend/participate in customer open houses and special events as required
- Promote current product line and assist with promotional or service programs
- Assist regional customers in making sales calls with distributors and fleets
- Conduct local/national/regional trade shows to promote products
- Resolve warranty issues and assist in field service issues and field test programs
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills
- Extensive knowledge of the commercial highway vehicle market
- Significant sales experience
- 6-10 years experience in heavy truck and brake-related components preferred
