Job Description

Aftermarket sales representative driving ASSA ABLOY mechanical and electromechanical door-opening product sales. Building demand among wholesalers, security professionals, and systems integrators across North Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and capture cross-brand demand for ASSA ABLOY mechanical and electromechanical products
  • Drive product sales within the targeted aftermarket channel community, including wholesalers, security professionals, and systems integrators
  • Communicate with decision makers and influencers
  • Implement aftermarket sales objectives
  • Collaborate with local sales teams
  • Develop a territory-specific aftermarket attack plan
  • Assess and report industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities
  • Track projects, collaborate with the team, and execute sales activities
  • Service customers in healthcare, school, university, military, and commercial building settings

Requirements:

  • College/University degree preferred, especially in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar, OR work experience commensurate with a minimum high school/GED diploma
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of industry-related experience creating and driving sales results to end users and channel partners servicing the aftermarket channel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
  • Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for selling door opening solutions
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong follow-up habits
  • Ability to manage time and projects proficiently
  • Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and facility standards
  • Industry-related technical and sales aptitude
  • Ability to travel and meet customer requirements
  • Ability to work in a home office environment or while traveling
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material
  • Ability to work in or be based in North Texas/Dallas, Texas, United States
