Job Description
Salesforce DevOps Engineer automating CI/CD, releases, and governance for CVS Health’s enterprise healthcare Salesforce platform. Supporting federated engineering teams and improving deployment reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Salesforce code deployments for releases
- Provide care, maintenance, and governance for Salesforce environments and sandboxes
- Align deployments with the CIBTD framework on the Salesforce Enterprise Service Platform
- Support and guide multiple application development teams on a federated Salesforce platform
- Maintain and manage code across multiple Salesforce environments
- Ensure consistency, stability, and deployment readiness across environments
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Set up, integrate, and support security code-scanning tools
- Integrate DevOps pipelines with automated test suites
- Automate manual deployment steps to improve release efficiency, reliability, and repeatability
- Own DevOps pipeline architecture and drive continuous improvement
- Identify gaps and optimization opportunities proactively
- Partner with onsite and offshore engineering teams
Requirements:
- 6+ years of Salesforce DevOps experience
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado or AutoRabit
- Experience working within a large-scale Salesforce ecosystem supporting multiple federated product and engineering teams
- Strong automation-first mindset
- Knowledge of the CIBTD framework on the Salesforce Enterprise Service Platform
- Experience supporting multiple application development teams on a federated Salesforce development platform
- Strong understanding of Git version control, branching strategies, merging, and build configuration
- Hands-on experience with Unlocked Packages, SFDX, Apex, Lightning, and Vlocity
- Mastery of advanced Git operations including conflict resolution, cherry-picking, rebasing, and re-baselining
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with security code-scanning tools such as Snyk, Checkmarx, ApexPMD, or SonarQube
- Experience integrating automated test suites into DevOps pipelines
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Salesforce DevOps product certification such as Copado or AutoRabit preferred
- Platform App Builder certification is a plus
- Experience or knowledge of Agentforce/Data Cloud deployments is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with onsite and offshore engineering teams
