Job Description
Salesforce Release Engineer managing CI/CD deployments and release quality for Sprezzatura’s secure government technology solutions. Coordinating Salesforce releases, troubleshooting issues, and improving delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the integrity and quality of software releases
- Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
- Debug and troubleshoot release-related issues
- Document and improve release processes and procedures
- Ensure adherence to release schedules and deliverables
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with software releases
- Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders
- Conduct release readiness reviews and ensure all release requirements are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless deployment of software products and updates
- Maintain a continuous delivery pipeline
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in release management or a similar role
- Knowledge of Salesforce release lifecycle and DevOps best practices
- Experience managing releases in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency with Copado (Pipelines, User Stories, Back Promotions, Compliance Hub)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
- Familiarity with code quality tools (CodeScan, PMD)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Copado Certifications (Fundamentals I/II, Developer, Administrator) preferred
- Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Administrator) preferred
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Required)
- Standard business hours are Monday through Friday
- Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting
