Job Description
SAP Applications Manager optimizing SAP systems for Allogene Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing allogeneic CAR T cell therapies. Managing upgrades, security, integrations, compliance, and external SAP support partners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP changes and redesigns, including architecture, configuration, licensing, and physical design optimization
- Plan and execute SAP application updates and upgrade projects
- Partner with the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud organization to manage SAP server and database environments
- Gather requirements, document changes, and ensure timely implementation and testing
- Monitor and troubleshoot the SAP landscape proactively
- Maintain system compliance with SOX and GxP regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation and ensure change control is followed
- Manage SAP client structure and transport paths across Dev, Test, and QA environments
- Optimize SAP security, including user establishment, authentication, and security role assignment
- Establish and monitor service and support metrics aligned with SLAs and global strategies
- Work with internal resources and external support partners to optimize the SAP solution landscape
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, a related degree, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Ability to understand client needs and translate them into products and services
- Ability to technically decompose and organize complex work and lead small teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments, handle interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with middleware, integration, and web technologies for SAP solutions, including S/4HANA, Cloud Analytics, and Cloud Integration Platform
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and HANA Security roles within a Fiori environment
- Experience with SAP Financials, Inventory & Materials Management, Warehouse Management, and Supply Chain Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
