Job Description
Full Stack Engineer securing a cloud HR platform for public-sector organizations using .NET, Angular, SQL, and cloud infrastructure. Remediating vulnerabilities, testing fixes, and automating dependency updates.
Responsibilities:
- Remediate security vulnerabilities across the .NET, Angular, SQL, and infrastructure stack
- Upgrade NuGet and npm dependencies and resolve breaking changes
- Fix authorization, XSS, path traversal, SQL injection, weak cryptography, and other code-level vulnerabilities
- Rotate credentials and coordinate safe, sequenced rollouts with DevOps
- Harden Dockerfiles and Kubernetes deployments
- Write unit tests and perform functional verification for every security fix
- Own major-version upgrades end to end, from diagnosing build or behavior changes through resolution
- Document upgrade analyses and solutions to prevent repeated work
- Collaborate with repository-owning teams, engineers, Security, QA, and DevOps through reviews and implementation
- Evaluate proposed fixes, identify false positives, and provide technical reasoning
- Set up automation for continuous dependency updates to prevent backlog accumulation
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong C# / .NET skills
- Solid experience with ASP.NET Core web applications
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Experience with a modern frontend framework; Angular preferred, with React or Vue experience transferable
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, parameterization, and an ORM or data access layer
- Regular unit-testing practice, ideally with integration or end-to-end testing experience
- Strong Git skills, including branching, rebasing, clean commits, and useful pull requests
- Ability to read and understand unfamiliar code
- Clear written and spoken English
- Genuine interest in security
- Experience with relevant technologies in the listed backend, frontend, data, infrastructure, testing, and security stacks
