Job Description

Senior Account Executive delivering digital promotional campaigns for pharmaceutical clients at Avalere Health. Managing client relationships, agency workflows, budgets, billing, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver digital promotional marketing campaigns for pharmaceutical clients
  • Demonstrate knowledge of agency procedures and contribute to problem resolution
  • Support Account Supervisors, Group Account Supervisors, and/or Account Directors in daily client work management
  • Create work orders, change orders, project briefs, status reports, and conference reports
  • Review project timelines with Project Management
  • Communicate with assigned client contacts
  • Support budget tracking and client billing
  • Follow up with internal departments and help keep work moving
  • Understand clients’ businesses and objectives
  • Frequently serve as the client’s main day-to-day agency contact
  • Support billing and communications updates, including status reports, invoices, and financial trackers
  • Build relationships with project managers, copywriters, and art directors
  • Attend market research, capture notes, and share trends and insights with the team

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of how an advertising agency works and how jobs move through the agency
  • Pharma agency experience required
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellence in attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to communicate directly and frequently with clients with some autonomy
  • Strong digital acumen
  • BA/BS degree with coursework emphasis in marketing, communications, and/or advertising
  • 3-5 years of advertising agency Account Management experience, with preference for pharma agency experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
