Job Description
Senior Accountant managing financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, and compliance for Wingman Group’s Australian partner operations. Remote Philippines role supporting high-impact contractor projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Check and correct errors in balance sheets and profit and loss statements
- Manage general ledger and balance sheet changes
- Check bank reconciliations and correct errors
- Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and review budgets and forecasts
- Recommend cost reductions and revenue improvements
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts
- Complete financial audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements accurately and on time
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff
- Work with Australian partners and onshore specialists on high-impact projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a SENIOR ACCOUNTING role
- Well-versed in Excel, FBT, GST
- Knowledge of payroll tax return payments and obligations
- Prior experience drafting consolidated financial statements
- Understanding of transaction rollout
- Experience with month-end accounts and reports and payroll
- Confident with good English communication
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup
- Preferably i5 specifications and 60 MBPS speed
- Available to start ASAP
- Equipment is self-provided
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM
- 512GB HDD/SSD
- Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, 12th generation or newest
- Windows 11 Home or Pro
- Power backup such as power station, powerbank, or UPS
- Secondary/external monitor
- Noise-cancelling headset and webcam
- Internet speed of 40–50 Mbps minimum for both download and upload
- BIR contributions/registration required for contractors
- NBI or Police Clearance
- Government-issued ID
- Able to work 7AM to 4PM MNL time, Mondays to Fridays
- Must comply with Wingman IT and security requirements and productivity standards
- Must provide device and internet speed screenshots, equipment and work setup photos, a 1–2 minute self-introduction video, English proficiency test screenshot, and personality test screenshot
- Must provide professional references
- Must consent to system monitoring and safety tools under Wingman’s Cyber Security Program
- Must provide BIR tax, NBI or Police Clearance, and Government ID
- Independent contractor agreement under Singapore Law with Philippines Resources Pte. Ltd.
- Must accept contract engagement with the Singapore and Philippines teams
