Job Description
Senior AI Engineer developing Python applications, LLM solutions, and RAG workflows for an energy-services provider. Building secure backend services and REST APIs for energy-sector digitalization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop production-ready, AI-powered applications and automation solutions with Python
- Design and implement RAG systems and agentic workflows
- Develop backend services and REST APIs, including with FastAPI
- Work with Large Language Models, embedding models, and modern agent frameworks
- Ensure the quality, security, and traceability of AI applications in collaboration with the team
- Participate in code reviews and take ownership of implementation to continuously improve the software
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field
- At least five years of professional software development experience with Python
- Strong experience developing backend systems and REST APIs, ideally with FastAPI
- Practical experience with LLM-based applications, RAG systems, or agentic workflows
- Knowledge of modern AI frameworks such as LlamaIndex, LangChain, PydanticAI, or comparable technologies
- Clean, maintainable, production-ready code
- Willingness to actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Independent and responsible working style
- Good command of English
- Alignment with the values of results orientation, quality, honesty, fairness, and team spirit
- Experience with automation platforms such as n8n (a plus, but not required)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or Azure AI Services (a plus, but not required)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes (a plus, but not required)
- Experience working with vector databases (a plus, but not required)
