Job Description
Senior Analyst owning Solvency II reporting, SCR calculations and audit controls at Accelerant, a specialty insurance risk exchange. Modernizing Tagetik workflows through automation and AI.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end annual reporting schedule, including data sourcing, QRT population and timely delivery under PRA and EIOPA requirements
- Monitor PRA and EIOPA taxonomy updates and ensure QRTs reflect current requirements
- Own SCR calculations as a core member of the Capital Management team
- Maintain data lineage across the Solvency process and partner with data, finance and business engagement teams on upstream data-flow changes
- Maintain auditable controls and process documentation
- Drive the control framework forward, including peer review, to keep the function audit-ready
- Lead the build-out of Tagetik automation with system consultants
- Identify and implement AI opportunities for process and control automation
- Deliver process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase reporting-cycle reliability
- Build relationships across data, finance and business teams as the subject-matter contact for Solvency data and processes
- Lead quarterly discussion forums with senior stakeholders, explaining complex regulatory and technical topics clearly
Requirements:
- +5 years of hands-on Solvency II reporting experience
- Strong working knowledge of QRT production, regulatory submissions and PRA/EIOPA requirements
- Experience with or exposure to Tagetik or a comparable reporting platform
- Familiarity with SCR calculations and Solvency II Best Estimate/Risk Margin, or sufficient actuarial/finance grounding to engage credibly with Capital Management colleagues
- Track record of building controls and documentation that hold up under audit scrutiny
- Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and managing cross-functional relationships
- Genuine curiosity about process improvement and emerging technology, including AI
