Job Description
Treasury Analyst managing liquidity, cash forecasting, banking relationships, and financial risk for Saks Global’s luxury retail business. Supporting daily cash operations, reporting, controls, and treasury strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s daily cash modeling process, reconcile actuals to forecast, and identify key drivers and trends
- Perform daily cash positioning through wire/ACH payments and intercompany fund transfers
- Assist Accounts Payable with daily disbursements and alignment with the approved cash forecast
- Partner with Financial Planning, Real Estate, Tax, Payroll, Benefits, and other business teams on treasury needs and cash forecasting
- Track and reconcile India global capability center disbursement needs and monthly funding levels
- Prepare interest forecast and actualization schedules and coordinate with Accounting on debt-related items
- Prepare and distribute daily executive reporting on cash position and liquidity
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for store teams and internal business partners on cash management matters
- Support incoming/outgoing wires, payment confirmations, account coding, bank account reconciliation, and ad hoc information requests
- Support bank account maintenance, authorized signer updates, and bank portal access and permissions
- Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes, reduce transaction costs, and enhance treasury automation
- Support treasury-related compliance, audit, bank/debt reporting, and internal/external partner interactions
- Participate in special projects supporting the long-term Treasury Strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2–4 years of corporate treasury, corporate finance, or commercial banking experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables
- Hands-on experience with commercial online banking platforms and treasury management systems, such as Wells Fargo Vantage, J.P. Morgan Access, and Bank of America CashPro
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-level ERP systems, such as Workday, Oracle, and SAP
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- High attention to detail
- Sound financial literacy
- Strong communication skills
