Job Description

Procurement consulting analyst improving Fortune 1000 clients’ sourcing, spend, and supply-chain operations at ProcureAbility. Supporting analytics, strategic sourcing, supplier research, negotiations, and internal firm-building initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients on sourcing, procurement, category management, spend management, and spend analytics projects
  • Support workstreams within client projects
  • Perform operational, procurement, and spend assessments
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews
  • Perform modeling and analytics
  • Prepare reports
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Conduct market and supplier research
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate RFx processes
  • Participate in negotiations
  • Support internal firm-building initiatives including benchmarking, client research, white paper research and development, proposal development, and other internal projects

Requirements:

  • 2–3+ years of previous supply chain, procurement, or consulting experience with a Fortune 1,000 company
  • Recent graduates with relevant Procurement or Supply Chain degrees or internship experience will be considered
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Formal presentation development and delivery skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work comfortably with all levels of the organization and client stakeholders
  • Adaptability to engage, cultivate relationships, and communicate with clients and colleagues across varied corporate cultures and organizational structures
  • Self-starter and critical thinker
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to independently manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Procure-To-Pay platform experience such as Ariba or Coupa is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel to client sites on an as-needed basis
