Job Description
Senior API Developer at Arctiq integrating backend solutions with PHP and Python. Building secure, high-performance APIs for complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using PHP and Python.
- Build scalable integration solutions between enterprise applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Develop and optimize Oracle database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, packages, and functions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
- Create and maintain API documentation, technical specifications, and integration guides.
- Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection.
- Monitor API performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Optimize application and database performance through efficient coding practices and query tuning.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Support CI/CD processes and contribute to automated testing and deployment initiatives.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality standards and successful production releases.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience developing APIs and backend services using PHP and Python.
- Extensive experience working with Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of API security standards, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and authentication frameworks.
