Job Description
Genpact finance associate managing accounts receivable collections, cash application, reconciliations, and customer disputes. Supporting global enterprises through process intelligence and AI-powered business transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Make collection calls to customers
- Email or fax invoices and arrange mailed hard copies as requested
- Validate customer remittances and report cash allocation details to the business
- Allocate payments according to customer remittances through cash application
- Collaborate across accounts receivable entities and track aged receivables
- Act as Subject Matter Specialist for accounts receivable processes and the AR value chain
- Create and update Standard Operations Procedures
- Handle client queries and information requests
- Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage the end-to-end cash application process
- Process cash applications to invoices and complete Daily Receipt Reconciliation accurately and timely
- Follow up on customer and internal disputes and coordinate resolutions across departments
- Reconcile orders to customer books, validate credits or debits, and send them for collection or refund
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance, or Master's degree in Finance
- English language proficiency at Advanced - C1 level
- Skills in Accounting, Accounts Payable Process, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Receivable Collection, Accounts Receivable Management (ARM), Cash Application, Collections Analytics, Collections Management, Credit Risk Management, and SAP Overview
- Experience working with a real estate client preferred
- Accounts Payable Certification, CAMS, CFE, Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst, or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certifications listed
