Job Description
Senior Backend Developer focusing on backend development using .NET for a collection agency. Ensuring performance and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET (C#).
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by PHP Laravel applications and other internal services.
- Design, optimize, and maintain SQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Ensure performance, reliability, security, and scalability of backend systems.
- Integrate third-party services and internal systems via APIs.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and databases.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver features end-to-end.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote best engineering practices.
- Contribute to improving development workflows, tooling, and system observability.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong, hands-on experience with .NET / C# in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), including query optimization, indexing strategies, and data modeling.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity working alongside PHP Laravel frontends (integration-focused; frontend development not required).
- Solid understanding of software architecture, backend design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile or iterative development environment.
