Job Description
Senior Cloud Product Manager building a greenfield cloud product at Contabo, a German cloud hosting provider. Owning customer-driven roadmap, architecture alignment, KPIs, and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Build a new cloud product from the ground up as a greenfield venture within Contabo
- Establish customer and support feedback channels
- Translate market and customer needs into a product vision
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap, from high-level planning and prioritisation through delivery, aligned with the PMO
- Refine ideas so development teams can implement them confidently
- Sequence roadmap items for maximum impact
- Shape the user experience with the UX tandem partner
- Participate in technical discussions and understand product architecture across the full stack
- Identify and resolve hidden blockers
- Integrate with existing finance and infrastructure processes and create new processes where needed
- Present progress and updates to development, sales, support, marketing, and leadership stakeholders
- Serve as the central point of contact across stakeholder groups
- Establish a product-driven roadmap spanning at least two years
- Define KPIs to measure platform success
- Report directly to the Head of Product and work autonomously
Requirements:
- Extensive senior-level experience in product management, ideally in a cloud or IT infrastructure environment
- Proven end-to-end ownership of a product roadmap, from strategy through delivery
- Solid technical understanding of cloud-native architecture, including containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with data-driven prioritisation, A/B testing, and agile frameworks such as Scrum
- Proven experience acting as the central point of contact between engineering, sales, support, and leadership
- Confident, natural use of AI tools in daily work
- High degree of independence and composure in an ambiguous greenfield environment
- Ability to quickly build deep understanding of new domains, products, and technologies
- Professional fluency in English
- German language skills, product management certifications, and a degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering are a plus
- Experience with pricing and packaging is a plus
