Job Description

Senior intelligence manager building competitive insights for WEKA, an AI data and memory infrastructure company. Shaping positioning, product strategy, and sales enablement through market analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and scale WEKA's competitive and market intelligence program, including sources, tooling, workflows, taxonomy, operating cadence, governance, distribution, and feedback loops
  • Create a trusted, current system of record for intelligence
  • Develop intelligence on priority competitors across products, architecture, performance, positioning, customers, partnerships, business models, and go-to-market strategy
  • Track competitor pricing, packaging, licensing, consumption models, and commercial changes
  • Monitor AI infrastructure technology shifts, market structure, customer requirements, emerging categories, cloud and neocloud dynamics, ecosystem moves, business models, and buying patterns
  • Translate competitive, market, customer, and field signals into strategic recommendations
  • Develop competitive positioning, battlecards, playbooks, objection handling, comparison frameworks, executive briefs, and other field tools
  • Establish scalable field intelligence, competitive deal, feedback, and win/loss programs with Sales and GTM Operations
  • Support strategic competitive opportunities with Sales and Solutions Engineering
  • Deliver concise, decision-oriented competitive and market briefings to Product, GTM, and executive leadership
  • Use AI, automation, and modern intelligence tools to monitor signals and accelerate research and synthesis
  • Partner with Product and Product Marketing on roadmap discussions, positioning, messaging, launches, category strategy, campaigns, and thought leadership
  • Incorporate analyst research, industry perspectives, market data, and third-party validation
  • Establish measures of intelligence adoption, field engagement, competitive win/loss trends, effectiveness of competitive plays, and strategic influence

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, product marketing, product strategy, management consulting, industry research, or a closely related role in enterprise technology
  • Demonstrated experience personally building or materially scaling a competitive or market intelligence program
  • Strong experience conducting competitive research and analysis and translating complex findings into positioning, recommendations, enablement, and executive-level insights
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand enterprise infrastructure architectures, product capabilities, performance claims, integrations, and technical differentiation
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, accelerated computing, cloud computing, data platforms, storage and memory technologies, or adjacent enterprise infrastructure technologies
  • Experience building field intelligence and win/loss programs
  • Strong primary and secondary research skills
  • Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using AI, automation, and competitive or market intelligence tools
  • Proven ability to influence Product, Sales, Marketing, and executive stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong business judgment and outcome-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor with significant autonomy
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Located in North America
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
