Job Description
Senior Counsel managing SEC reporting and compliance activities for public companies at Alight. Supporting various corporate governance tasks and legal analysis as needed in a corporate setting.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support SEC reporting and compliance activities
- Prepare and file Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and proxy statements
- Assist in preparing and reviewing press releases and investor presentations
- Support activities related to the Company’s annual stockholders’ meeting
- Provide legal analysis and prepare documentation as required
Requirements:
- Law degree and active state bar membership
- 3–6 years of experience at a law firm or in a corporate law department
- Experience with SEC compliance and corporate governance work for public companies
- Experience advising U.S.-based multinational corporations on complex matters
