Job Description
Technical lead driving ownership of a cloud-native data ecosystem at Odisea. Working with high-stakes real-time consumer markets, requires autonomy and proactive communication.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and sustain self-healing pipelines using Astronomer/Airflow to ensure 24/7 data availability
- Design and optimize event-driven API ingestion frameworks leveraging AWS Lambda and DLT (Data Load Tool)
- Manage high-performance modeling within AWS Redshift, utilizing DBT to transform raw transactional data into high-fidelity business intelligence
- Implement advanced monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch) that predicts failures
- Lead the ingestion of complex, third-party data streams (Ad-tech, CRM, and high-volume Sales systems) into a unified, scalable source of truth
Requirements:
- 6+ years of total Data Engineering experience (with at least 4 years focused on building pipelines that integrate APIs and cloud services)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (Redshift, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch)
- 3+ years of Python development focused on scripting, orchestration, and API interactions
- 2+ years of proven experience building/maintaining REST API integrations for data ingestion, including ETL processes with third-party systems
- 1+ years of experience with Astronomer (Airflow) or an equivalent tool
- Strong SQL skills for performance optimization and modeling (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB)
- Required familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation)
