Job Description
Part-time Senior DeFi Engineer defining core DeFi mechanisms for a blockchain startup. Join Launch Legends to innovate decentralized financial infrastructure and tooling for cross-chain liquidity.
Responsibilities:
- Design core DeFi mechanisms using Solidity, Rust, and Polkadot JAM.
- Architect AMMs, perpetuals, options, and synthetics for sub-microsecond execution.
- Implement tokenomics with dynamic governance, staking, and inflation/deflation models.
- Build zk-SNARK lending systems resistant to oracle attacks and front-running.
- Optimize contracts for gas efficiency and parallel execution in sharded environments.
- Integrate RWA tokenization with yield farming and cross-chain bridges.
- Conduct formal verification using TLA+ for economic incentive alignment.
- Mitigate risks with smart contract audits and MEV-resistant designs.
- Design primitives compatible with Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, and Cosmos.
- Deliver SDKs (Solidity/Rust) for rapid primitive deployment.
- Build testing sandboxes for DeFi simulation in <5 minutes.
- Mentor engineers and pioneer novel mechanisms like AI-driven risk engines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7+ years in DeFi primitive engineering with launches of AMMs or lending protocols.
- Expertise in Solidity, Rust, zk-SNARKs, and Polkadot JAM/Hyperledger.
- Proficiency in tokenomics, cross-chain protocols, and cryptographic proofs.
- Background in Polkadot JAM contributions or RWA tokenization preferred.
- Experience with open-source DeFi tooling or multi-chain bridges preferred.
- Contributions to Uniswap/Aave standards or patents preferred.
