Job Description
Senior Delegate Sales Executive at UNLEASH.ai driving revenue for major international conferences. Selling delegate spaces and collaborating with event production and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Delegate Sales: Use telesales, video and telemarketing techniques to sell delegate spaces at our international conferences and exhibitions.
- Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the design and implementation of targeted marketing campaigns to drive delegate sales and community.
- Market Research: You are only as good as your leads in this role! Market research is a way of life in this sales role to identify potential leads and understand industry trends to ensure a comprehensive delegate mix.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to pitching and then closing successfully.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed set sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the conference and exhibition.
- KPI Delivery: achieving a minimum of 100 dials and 8 qualified conversations daily with an expected revenue target of 600,000 per anum.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activity, delegate feedback, and market trends to senior management.
- Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to generate leads and build a strong professional network.
- Database Management: Update and maintain the delegate and customer database ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Team Collaboration: Work very closely with the event production, marketing, and operations teams to deliver a seamless delegate experience.
- Negotiation: Negotiate with potential delegates to secure their participation at our events, ensuring they are aware of the benefits and opportunities our conference and exhibition with a key focus on large team attendance.
Requirements:
- 5 years+ proven sales experience in a telesales or conference sales role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge CRM platforms and database management.
- Knowledge of the conference and exhibition industry is desirable.
- Tenacious, articulate and confident in engaging at a C-suite/Director/Head of level.
- The ability to sell team bookings with experience in having done this prior.
